Eesti Raudtee is undergoing a large-scale reconstruction project of Lääne-Harju railway lines, during which the waiting platforms of the stations were also renewed.

Hansab installed modern digital information displays on the waiting platforms of Keila and Paldiski railway stations, which show passengers timetables and other important information.

Hansab also produced special cases for screens with support posts, which, like the screens, are weatherproof and vandal-proof. Because the screens are high brightness, they are easy to see even in sunny weather.

“These screens are resistant to humidity, wind, and low temperatures and are therefore ideally suited for use in the Nordic climate of Estonia,” comments Andres Pillart, Hansab’s Field Manager for Multimedia Solutions.

He adds: “In addition to railway stations, such screens are suitable for also other parts of the city environment, where it is desired to show information or advertisements to people. For example, the city’s central square, building facades, bus stations, and ports.”
