A New Way to Explore Vilnius: 10 Interactive JCDecaux Lithuania Screens at Public Transport Stops

How can visitors access relevant information about Vilnius not only at a tourist information centre or on their phones, but also while moving around the city? One way is to bring interactive solutions directly to public transport stops, making it easier to discover and explore Vilnius along the way.

Discovering the city along everyday routes

The Hansab team installed interactive screens at 10 public transport stops in Vilnius. They give both residents and visitors easy access to information about the city. The screens are located at different stops across the city centre and Old Town, from the Railway Station to Europe Square.

The screens feature content from Go Vilnius. Users can explore the city map, discover places to visit, museums, galleries, cultural and historical sites, viewpoints, upcoming events and guided tours. The content is available in Lithuanian and English, helping both locals and tourists find their way around the city and discover things to see and do.

Remote content management

The content shown on all 10 screens can be managed centrally and updated remotely. This helps ensure that the information stays up to date and can be changed quickly when needed.

Thanks to this project, public transport stops now have an additional purpose. They are not only places to wait for transport, but also digital points for discovering Vilnius. This brings useful city information closer to people as part of their everyday and tourist journeys.
