Control System for LED Signs

Controller manages external LED signs of the bus with all possible route numbers and names in its memory. The driver should choose the desired route in the conveniently installed controller, and the LED sign immediately starts showing the chosen route name, destination, and number. This solution is not only convenient to passengers, it also helps to save the time of drivers; they do not need to change the cardboard or metal route plates as the route and stops are quickly and conveniently programmed by the vehicle computer. Furthermore, they perform not only the function of information – the buses look more modern and are better to see during night-time.

Special computer controls on-board passenger information system.  On-board computer and GPS antenna are installed in the bus. As the bus approaches the stop, computer locates it, compares information with the stop coordinates, and sends messages to the on-board LED sign and plays the voice message. It is an autonomous and independent system to provide information to passengers without using additional servers and complex software.
