Hansab won the first prize at the Quality Innovation Award in Estonia

On the 24th January, Hansab Estonia won the first prize at the Quality Innovation Award in Estonia for the project "Humanoid Pepper in the new Telia head office“. Hansab AS won the prize in medium-size companies category.

The main goal of this prize is to recognize, introduce and increase the number and quality of innovative solutions. The prize was given out by the Estonian Quality Association and it is handed out annually in different categories: for small, medium, and large companies. The winners of each category are submitted to International Quality Innovation Award.

The main idea of the project that we implemented in Telia is that humanoid-robot Pepper welcomes all the guests in Telia’s headquarters. It's task is to help the guests in the lobby area – it is welcoming, registering and informing employees about the guests. Also, the guests while waiting may take a small quiz about Telia.

The software for Pepper was developed by software development and integration company Ellore, which belongs to Hansab Group.

For Hansab, this award means a lot because one of our main goals has been innovation and we are happy to be noticed - it means we are keeping the right track.
