International Quality Award for Hansab

We are proud to announce, that Hansab’s project “Humanoid Pepper in the new Telia head office“ was recognized at the International Quality Innovation Award competition 2017.

A total of over 400 innovations from the 13 participating countries were presented for the competition. The winners were announced on February 8th in Bilbao (Basque Country). Hansab's efforts were highly valued internationally and Hansab was recognized with the Quality Innovation Prize.

The Competition of Quality Innovation of the Year has been organized since 2007. Its main goal is to increase the amount and level of innovations. This is truly an international event with many more countries looking to participate in the near future. Hundreds of innovators from various countries have applied to this international competition for neutral evaluation and recognition of their innovation. 

For Hansab, this award means a lot because one of our main goals has been innovation and we are happy to be noticed - it means we are keeping the right track. Humanoid robot Pepper started to assist customers at Telia's new headquarters in April 2017. Pepper is the first robot able to identify human emotions and manner of speaking and choose the communication style correspondingly.
