Hansab implemented the first book transportation system integrated with RFID solution in the Baltic countries in the National Open Access Scholarly Communication and Information Centre in the Vilnius University Library.
In the course of the 3-year project, Hansab installed custom-made equipment – self-service kiosks, book return and sorting system and librarians’ workplaces.
The Scholarly Communication and Information Centre in Vilnius installed the book transportation system, which consists of two main parts: the equipment operating on RFID technology and the book transportation system. “We are pleased with Hansab’s technical expertise, project management and adherence to the agreements.
