Outdoor advertising kiosks in Rakvere
Hansab installed two new advertising kiosks on the promenade of Rakvere Laada Street and one interactive kiosk at the intersection of Parkali and Jakobson Streets.
In the newspaper Rakvere Sõnumid, the city artist Marju Püümets commented that the old advertising kiosks of the promenade needed to be replaced, as they had largely depreciated over time due to the weather.
"New screens, specially designed for outdoor conditions, will display advertisements for events organized primarily by the city and its subordinates," said Püümets.
Rakvere is a popular cultural town frequented by both Estonian residents and tourists.
An interactive kiosk was installed at the intersection of Parkali and Jakobson streets, which on the one side displays advertisements and on the other side has a map of the city of Rakvere. The city map-side screen is touch-sensitive and makes it easy to find points of interest in the city and get more information about them.
The screens are equipped with content management software that is manageable remotely. Thanks to the high brightness the screens have ideal visibility even in direct sunlight.
The installation of kiosks also included the construction of a foundation with excavation work and the creation of electrical connections.
