Self-Service Kiosks for a Bus Station

Hansab installed four self-service kiosks in order to offer a more convenient and faster solution for passengers to acquire travel information, as well as purchase and print tickets.
The development of the kiosk started in August 2012, and in the course of the project, custom-shaped lighted interactive kiosks were built. The kiosks have touchscreens, RFID readers, bar-code readers, and the Ingenico card payment terminal and receipt printer.
In addition to the kiosks, Hansab installed Digital Signage solution. It consists of Samsung 40“-55“ screens for the ticket offices. Small monitors show information about the customer’s transactions, while large screens display timetables and other general passenger information. The digital signage solution uses the Samsung MagicInfo Premium software to manage the content. This software allows scheduling the content and remote management, as required.
