Kalamajakas is a favorite amongst Estonian fish lovers. It offers a wide selection of fresh & smoked fish, seafood, and various canned goods. Kalamajakas has several sales outlets all over Estonia as well as an e-shop.

The sales counters at the Balti Jaama turg (Baltic Station market) in Tallinn recently introduced Evolis Edikio plastic price tags. The logo and product information can be printed directly on the price tags, while the Information that needs constant updating, like the price and the best-before date, can be added manually. Handwritten information can be erased and rewritten easily without compromising the look and feel of the price tag.

According to Liis Raadik, Kalamajaka’s Marketing and PR manager, the main advantage of using plastic labels is that the Evolis Edikio printer allows them to design the labels on their own according to the company’s needs. “Since the pre-printed text has the same font and style on all cards, it is also much more beautiful visually. The handwritten price can be easily erased and the cards can be easily cleaned,” she adds.

The Evolis Edikio printers provide the opportunity to design and print plastic price tags on-site at the point of sale according to current needs and assortment changes. These tags are durable and are food contact compliant, which makes them suitable for culinary counters, fish and meat products, buffet tables, and bakery products.
