Hansab has installed the Optiguard display and security systems in six Rahva Raamat stores across Estonia to secure and conveniently display e-readers.
The bookstore’s goal was to find a showcase system, which allows displaying e-readers in an attractive manner and easy access for viewing and testing without the fear of theft.
Rahva Raamat found Hansab to be the only supplier and service provider that has a wide service network range all across Estonia. The Optiguard system consists of a central unit and Elypse series stands equipped with UHM3 sensors. The system also includes micro-USB power cables, which make it possible to charge e-readers from the display stands. They are attached to display stands with special adhesive stickers and set off an immediate alarm sound in case of removal the e-reader or damage to the wire at the central unit.
